The Anjou Rouge comes from 25-30 year-old vines. The blend is 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is made using no additives, and is macerated for 10 days in ambient temperature with ambient yeasts.
This Anjou red wine displays a bright ruby colour. The nose reveals aromas of wild berries and cherry. On the palate, the wine is generous and well-structured, combining finesse with balance, and leading to a long, persistent finish marked by red fruit flavours such as blackcurrant and blueberry.
