This cult Pinot Noir is made from a blend from two vineyards; Mayfield, on the Twenty Mile Bench, and Paragon Vineyard in Creek Shores sub-appellations of West Niagara. The fruit was hand-picked with each lot fermented separately and aged in 228-litre French oak barriques for 16 months. The Black Label showcases brambly red fruits, black cherry, dried herbs with a savory, flinty edge. Blended and bottled unfiltered in The Farm cellar.
